AKILAH'S JEWELRY is a woman owned St. Ann's based enterprise that manufactures and sells a line of high fashioned ecological ware made from beads, seeds, pods, stems, grass, bone and shells that can be found through-out the Caribbean.
Akilah Jaramogi is also the Co-founder of the Fondes Amandes Community Re-forestation Project. Currently she manages the project. She grows her seeds organically.
AKILAH'S JEWELRY has earned a reputation throughout Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean for its natural and unique designs and creative use of natural materials. Each piece of jewelry is unique and original, and can also be custom-designed to adjust for the special wishes of the client.

Akilah has worked with many local designs over the years; she also worked with the 1998 Miss Universe Committee which was hosted in Trinidad, outfitting the delegates with African ware and jewelry. Akilah is also the co-founder of the Caribbean Artisan Foundation and the Trinidad Artisan Foundation. |
Kemba Jaramogi is the eldest daughter of Akilah Jaramogi. She is a young and new designer. She loves fashion and have worked on jewelry collections for local fashion houses such as Meiling and The Cloth. She is also involved in Youth work, in 2005 she represented the youth of Trinidad and Tobago in Mauritius. Kemba is currently in University persuing a degree in Psychology and Sociology.
